Outcome Preparation: Lights And Roof

My dad conveniently found an LED UV light to try to illumiate the piece, since the one I initially got was faulty. After setting the light up, it became pretty clear that I'll need to black the top of the room out to make the space as dark as possible so the UV stands out as bright as it can. To do this I got help from my tutors and peers because it was a big task and that evades my own skill set. We hoisted the fabric up and over the walls before stapling it to the edges and cutting the ends down so they didn't interfere with the work on either side of the wall. This really makes a difference in the room and the work became a lot more visible. Because one of the gaps for people to enter and exit is facing a window, we created a kind of flap out of the fabric for people to look through that blocks out a lot of the light from that side.

The UV light works really well and after drawing over the images and certain words that didn't come out initially, the piece looks really good and I'm quite impressed with myself. I'm immensely grateful to everyone who helped me along the process of this project and I think all the hard work pays off in the outcome I have produced. Now to evaluate.
