Outcome Preparation: Writing On Tablecloth
Because I want a variety of handwriting on my tablecloth I asked for volunteers to help me. I used statements from my initial surveys and asked my volunteers to write anything they felt in the moment about their extended family because I did like the interactive part of previous experiments. I was really happy as I people's genuine thoughts and feelings despite my presence there, I do think the invisible pen helped aid this honesty however. My favourite new addition was 'I like my boyfriend's family more than my own' which is quite bittersweet but kind of exactly what I wanted. Though I still need a few more, it should look quite effective under the Ultraviolet light.
