Outcome Preparation: Illustrating Tablecloth
I placed the tabletop onto the tablecloth and marked around it in tape so I knew where to draw. I then pinned it up on a wall, projecting the images onto the fabric. It took some time and in all honesty I'm not that keen on the drawings, they just don't look right and they're a little small. I think this is probably because I didn't practice drawing them to scale and only did small copies. In hindsight I would have prepared this first. I don't think the table cloth illustrations add anything to the piece as they're hard to see on the edges and the small size doesn't help this.
To remedy this I would redo the tablecloth, but due to time, I think the only solution is to weave the text into the images to make them more cohesive and create a sense of unity.
