Exhibiton: Clangers, Bagpuss & Co
I went to see this exhibition at the Ferens Art Gallery and though it was mostly for nostalgia for my mum, I found it really interesting. The exhibition showed the behind the scenes kind of workings of shows such as Clangers, Bagpuss and Ivor the Engine. Despite being a completely different method, I found how they made the sets for Ivor the Engine inspirational when making my model. They used a kind of stop frame animation and cut all the scenery and little props from paper. The exhibition even showed how they made the Clangers move-able. Though not extremely linked to my project, it helped me think about model making in a different way and observing the families there has helped my observation and research.
