Experimentation: Photo Frames, On Fabric
I then tried drawing onto fabric and then framing it which worked, this time I used a picture of my dad as a kid. I chose this because it linked to quite a few of the survey answers about younger brothers. I then wrote these quotes around the frame which would have worked better had my handwriting been nicer and the frame thicker - which is something I'll definitely keep in mind when choosing frames for my outcome.
The pen isn't visible on the plastic frame so I was very pleased with that. I did write on the glass but with the fabric underneath it, the writing didn't shine at all. This means I'll have to have the image on the fabric or on the glass, the both doesn't work. I prefer the fabric so I think I'll use that. I quite like the effect of having the words around the image and it's adds something else to it, rather than distracting from either the words or the image. I'll play around with it a little more but I like this experiment and I think it works nicely.
