Experimentation: Plates and Permanent Ultraviolet Marker
After finding the permanent marker and how it worked on the glasses, I decided to try it on the plates to see if it would work similarly. If it did, that means I won't have to prime the plates or use any bisques which makes it a look a lot more professional.
I started by writing out statements and initially I kept smudging them but I've found if you leave it for ten seconds after writing, the ink dries and you can carry on writing as normal. The pen doesn't budge after drying either so it definitely works and I'm so pleased. The pen does leave a faint green line where the writing is, but unless you really inspect it, it isn't that noticeable so it creates the sense of being invisible. I'm going to use this type of pen in my final because it works and it's effective and saves me a lot of time and money.
